Being vegan is the new healthy way of life that everyone should undertake.

A vegan is someone who doesn’t consume any products in the hope to support ending animal explosion and cruelty. There are many alternatives to gain nutrients like protein and calcium lost through the lack of meat in the vegan diet such as dark green vegetables, nuts, or vitamin supplements. As well as backing anti-animal violence, being vegan can also help prevent serious health problems.

A vegan’s plant-based diet has the potential to reduce that risk of cancer, obesity, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease. Leading researcher and Nobel Prize winner Elizabeth Blackburn conducted an experiment that showed that  500 genes changed within 3 months of being vegan, turning off genes that caused the health problems listed above and turning on genes that prevented then.

With all of these added health benefits, why would you not choose the vegan life?

I appreciate this! As a near vegan being (lactose intolerant and vegetarian) this insight into my lifestyle. I think next time you should try and make your paragraph more persuasive rather than informal. But I still love it! Everyone should be vegan!

I like the overall idea of being vegan but I think in the explanation you should of talked more about veganism and the benefits rather then ‘vitamins’ and stuff. Overall I really enjoyed reading it.
